All kidding aside, in our research we found several mentions of the positive effects that African Mango can have but the ones that we preferred to value the most are the ones that focused on actual studies. If you open up a new browser and search on Wikipedia or the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health for African Mango you will find several links to studies, two of our favorites being:

"The effect of Irvingia gabonensis seeds on body weight and blood lipids of obese subjects in Cameroon"

"A novel seed extract of the West African plant Irvingia gabonensis, significantly reduces body weight and improves metabolic parameters in overweight humans in a randomized double blind placebo controlled investigation".

To make things easier, you can just grab either one of those and drop it into a search box on a new browser.
