  1. Hi all Hoping someone can help with resetting an ENS202EXT. Just the other day I changed the mode from Access Point to Repeater to boost a campsite wifi signal. All went well with the mode change and it worked great. Today I'm at a new campsite so I tried to reset the unit - however even after multiple resets, I'm unable to login at 192.168.1.1 over ethernet - no connection with the unit at all. The reset process looks like it works as expected with the power light flashing after 10+ seconds, at which point I stop holding the reset button and the unit appears to reboot successfully. I can see wifi with SSID engenius1 but my laptop is unable to connect. So I'm stuffed being able to connect. Any ideas?! Regards
  2. Ok. I have two EnstationAC's set 1.1 miles apart. I have a continuous connection at 19dbm on the signal strenght and RSSI's between 63 and 69 consistently. I am running AES encryption on a WDS Bridge. The connection is stable, but the speeds will continuously degrade until the connection is agonizingly slow. When it slows down, I can go in and reset both AP's and then I get transfer rates from 60 to 80mpbs. But then after a couple of hours the rate is down to 5mpb and then a few later down to .50mbps. I thought this might be a spanning tree issue so I set the target AP with the internet connection to 35653 and the receiving tower to the 65355(whatever the highest number is). Anybody have a similar issue? Any thoughts or breadcrumbs I can follow?
  3. I can't reset my EOC2611P any ideas?
  4. We are experienced admins having worked with many Engenius units and with numerous models installed over the years. This week, we are trying to work with an ENS1750 that we discovered was set up already by someone else. Via some arp packet snooping we figured out its IP, and can reach the web login screen on it at 192.168.128.128 (yes, not a typo) - it redirects to http://192.168.128.128/cgi-bin/luci. (see photo attached). We also can see two custom SSIDs that are set up being broadcast in the 2.4 and 5ghz bands. But we do not know the unit's admin password (it's been changed), and so cannot login and factory reset via the GUI. More importantly, ***we cannot factory reset the unit using the hard reset button***. We have tried every combination of pressing the reset button for 10 seconds (per the manual), 30 seconds (per some postings online) and up to 60 seconds (per one email from Engenius support). Nothing changes. We have done this after the unit has been powered up for several minutes and also tried right at power-on and even while we were plugging it in. We have tried all of these MULTIPLE TIMES. Nothing works. We have had multiple experienced network techs here who have all been frustrated. No matter what we do, the unit in the end just reboots and we see the same IP and the same two custom SSIDs appear again - no reset, no factory settings, no changes at all. I do see others on this forum who have had similar problems - this seems like a bug in Engenius firmware. Does anyone have a solution, or did they just return their units to Engenius (as we're getting ready to do)?
  5. I was logging into one of our new ENS620EXT units and after finishing the WIFI changes I updated the IP address to 192.168.61.10. We do this sort of change all the time on our old ENS500EXT units. However after doing the reset I am unable to find the unit at the given IP address. I've quadruple checked my routes and had another person look them over so I'm pretty sure it's not a route issue. So I try a hardware reset. I push the reset button in for >10 seconds, release it. The lights all flash off, then they all flash on, then into various patterns. During this process I am running pings to 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.61.10. Oddly enough, 192.168.61.10 does come up for a few seconds: ...From 192.168.61.59 icmp_seq=398 Destination Host Unreachable 64 bytes from 192.168.61.10: icmp_seq=399 ttl=64 time=999 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.61.10: icmp_seq=400 ttl=64 time=0.329 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.61.10: icmp_seq=401 ttl=64 time=0.532 ms From 192.168.61.59 icmp_seq=437 Destination Host Unreachable... But then it stops. The end result on my lights is the Power light is solid red and the 5G light is blinking steadily at a slow rate. Any ideas? Does anyone have an exact sequence of steps for doing a hardware reset on this model?

    ENH202

I'm not sure what's going on, but I cannot login to my ENH202. I've tried my password and I've tried "admin" but nothing works. I've hit reset on the login page but that doesn't seem to do anything either. Is there a way to reset the password?
