  2. Question: What is the max length of the Ethernet cable from the PoE injector to the AP/Bridge? Answer: · The maximum distance you can power a device will vary depending on the access point and its voltage required, as well as the voltage provided by the power supply, and the quality of the cable. Cat6 cable is recommended for long POE runs. · 48V 802.3af standard POE can usually go about 100 meters/300 feet.
  3. Question: How many SA5219 and SA2216 do I need for ENH710EXT? Answer: SA2216 and SA5219 are both 2X2 MiMo antennas with 2 N type connectors. You would only need 1 SA2216 and 1 SA5219 to be connected to the ENH710EXT’s antenna ports respectively. Device Model: ENH710EXT
  4. Question. What happen when an existing route is no longer available due to the failure of a mesh AP? Answer. Each mesh AP maintains a list of all visible neighbor APs, including SNR, ease value (i.e. link cost), and bridge-group name. If a mesh AP loses connectivity with its immediate upstream node, it will use the neighbor information to determine the next best upstream AP to connect with. Device Model: ENH1750EXT/ENH900EXT
  5. If the 2.4GHz radio on the dual-band AP is set to Client bridge, WDS-Bridge or WDS Station then the option to set the 5GHz radio to Client Bridge, WDS-Bridge or WDS Station does not appear and vice versa.
  6. Some EnGenius devices do not have a reset button on the unit itself. The reset button is instead located on the PoE injector that comes with the AP. Below is a list of those devices: EWS860AP ENH1750EXT ENH900EXT ENH710EXT ENH220EXT Please add to the list if there are other EnGenius devices that do not have the reset button on the casing.
