  2. There may possibly a change on the MIB file as the configuration settings has also changed on the new firmware code. I will check with the engineering team and if possible getting the latest MIB file from them.
  3. Gotcha! It would definitely helpful both indoor and outdoor deployment. Spectrum analyzer would also need a hardware update.
  4. Good idea. We'll check this from the engineering team if this feature will be present on the next firmware update of EnGenius device(s)
  5. We do not have information from the Engineering team if there will be spectrum analyzer for EnGenius. Most of EnGenius access points (both indoor and outdoor) have scanning feature to detect wireless device(s) operating in the area. This feature can be used to find which channel is mostly used.

  11. Thanks steven.lin for pointing it out. @Micky The ECB1200 does not have DHCP service. If you connect it directly to a computer without assigning a fixed IP address, it would not detect it and so the engenius locator. If you properly reset the ECB1200, this should revert back to its factory IP address (192.168.1.1). Therefore, your computer must have a fixed IP address of 192.168.1.2 to its LAN connection. I also suggest disabling the wireless adapter of the computer (if available). Hope the above suffices your requirement.
  12. Thanks for the reply LaserWeld. I'll keep you posted.
  13. I honestly do not have that information. It may be in the road map, however we'll have to wait from the engineering team.
  14. LaserWeld/Chuck, Based on the operating temp for EnStationAC, 100 degrees F should be able to handle. Temperature Range Operating: -4°F to 140°F, -20°C to 60°C Storage: -22°F to 176°F, -30°C to 80 °C The fact that matter is we don't know how long the device can handle the heat (8 hours, for instance). I'll keep you guys posted once I have the information ready. In the interim, you may want to check out EnGenius Wireless Best Practices for outdoor backhaul deployment from the URLs below: https://helpcenter.engeniustech.com/hc/en-us/articles/235454228--Deploying-a-Point-to-Multi-Point-Backhaul-Network https://helpcenter.engeniustech.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005862868-Wireless-Backhaul-Network-Deployment-Best-Practices
  15. Hi, Isar, There are some features from a standalone access point that are no longer available once controlled and manged by the controller. One of them is the traffic shaping per user. All configuration settings will be taking care of the controller.
  16. Please see article posted on EnGenius HelpCenter: https://helpcenter.engeniustech.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001349852-How-to-set-Internet-rules-on-EMR3000-for-client-device-s-

  18. The controller do not have any method of balancing the wireless clients between access point. This can be set on the APs (clients limit) as to how many client device(s) are allowed to connect.

  21. I honestly don't have any words from the engineering team if there will be upgrade that may include IP kick. However, as soon as this feature available, code(s) will be posted on EnGenius official website. Not sure why they closed Port 123, it may perhaps some vulnerabilities (i.e. botnet). Apparently there's no FTP option for time settings.
  22. Thanks for the feedback. It may be a cache on the browser? Don't know either. Kick & Ban; yes it requires reboot to re-permit the MAC address after removing the MAC address of the banned device(s) from ACL (Mac address filtering) and there is no kick only option You can set the time and date to sync with NTP server. Just make sure you have a working NTP server and so your router. Auto Reboot - The time when you set the Auto reboot, that's also that time the access point will reboot. For instance, you set the Auto reboot at 00:00 (midnight) Monday, the access point will reboot at 00:00 on Tuesday and following days.
  23. Sounds interesting. Just try resetting the unit and also use a different browser and see if it will make any difference.
  24. Just curious, did the firmware update goes well? You may try using a different browser or may reset the unit by pressing and holding the reset button for 30 seconds.
