  1. The EWS370AP never has supported mesh.
  2. Do you mean that the ENS202 are set up in Client Bridge mode not WDS Bridge mode? WDS Bridge should be connecting to another WDS Bridge not access point. You can also set up the ENS202EXT in WDS Access Point mode and set up the ENS202 in WDS Station mode. What is the signal strength or RSSI that the ENS202 bridges getting from the ENS202EXT?
  3. Did you download it from www.engeniusnetworks.com? The release date for the 2.0.5 is 10-17-2014. The latest firmware is still the 2.0.361.
  4. The EWS860AP does not have built-in hardware reset button. Do you have an EPE-48GR PoE injector? The EPE-48GR PoE injector has a reset button that can reset the EWS860AP.
  5. The v2.0.5 is an older firmware published in late 2014.
  6. The ENS202EXT is powered by a 24V proprietary PoE so it cannot be powered by 802.3af/at PoE injectors or switches unless an EPD4824 PoE converter is used.
  7. The ECB350 is 802.3af compliant. If you want a PoE injector, get the EPA500GAT which is an 802.3af/at PoE injector.

  14. Hi, You'll need to set up your ENS202 first before connecting them to your network since your router and the ENS202 default IP addresses are the same. If the computer that you are using to set up the ENS202 bridges has a wireless adapter, disable the wireless adapter on the computer during the setup. You may also want to check out the following video:
  15. By default, the ENS202EXT does not have the AP router mode. You can check out the following link from the EnGenius Help Center: https://helpcenter.engeniustech.com/hc/en-us/articles/234658427-How-can-I-find-the-DHCP-server-on-EAP300v2-Access-Point-Mode-
  16. The signal lights on the ENH500 do not light up when in WDS Bridge mode. They only light up in client bridge and client router modes. You can check the RSSI of the link by going to the WDS Link List on the GUI.
  17. You may want to check out the Neutron line of devices. Neutron Access Points can be managed by the built-in controller on a Neutron switch with monitoring. The MAC address filter on the controller can only be set to block certain devices from connecting and does not have the "allow only" option. You can check out the following article from the Help Center about the Neutron Controller MAC address filter function: https://helpcenter.engeniustech.com/hc/en-us/articles/115010382768-How-to-set-up-MAC-address-filtering-on-the-Neutron-Controller
  18. Hi, Are the EWS360APs IP settings set to DHCP or are they set to a static IP address? Try setting them on a static IP with valid primary and secondary DNS.

    Bricked overnight

Can you recall which firmware the ESR300 routers were on before they were "bricked"? What is the version of the firmware that you tried to upload to the ESR300 using the emergency server? Latest firmware is version 1.4.11. https://www.engeniustech.com/wp_firmware/ESR300-V1-4-11-34.dlf
  20. Are you trying to set up a point-to-point wireless link? You may want to check out the following article from the EnGenius Help Center: https://helpcenter.engeniustech.com/hc/en-us/articles/235454228--Deploying-a-Point-to-Multi-Point-Backhaul-Network
  21. Is this for an initial installation? If so, don't connect the Engenius device to the router/network. Connect the EnGenius device to the computer using an Ethernet cable for configuration. Set a static IP address like on the computer Ethernet NIC. You may also have to disable the wireless adapter on the computer.
  22. Right-click on the Local Area Connection icon and you will find the Properties option. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 on the list and click on Properties.
  23. Are the 2.4GHz and 5GHz SSIDs exactly the same along with exact same wireless security settings? The RSSI for Prefer 5GHz in your Controller is set to -75dBm. Once the iPhone RSSI is weaker than -75dBm, it is offloaded to the 2.4GHz band.
  24. Try setting the EnStationAC bridges in a WDS Bridge to WDS Bridge configuration. Since they are only 50 yds apart, you'll likely have to lower the transmit power of both bridge to around 11dBm to 14dBm.
