  1. It would be impossible without the knowledge of the highly experienced EnGenius team.
  2. Louisville’s picturesque 85-acre Waterfront Park became the site of “mob violence” on the evening of Saturday, March 22, 2014. According to the FBI, in an article published by the Courier-Journal, “mob violence” occurred when a gang of middle school students went to Waterfront Park to fight another local gang. City leaders needed to move quickly to increase security and help reduce safety concerns in the park in advance of the city’s Thunder Over Louisville air show and fireworks display scheduled for April 12, 2014. “We were tasked with installing 28 cameras in the 85 acre park in less than two week time due to the upcoming major event which would have over 600,000 attendees,” explained Chris Seidt, Network Supervisor at Louisville Metro Government. With the cameras installed throughout the park, network connectivity was enabled quickly and easily using the EnGenius wireless access points and bridges. “The ENH700s are installed on the buildings with the fiber and switches, and the ENH500s are mounted with the cameras and are pointed back to the ENH700s,” explained Seidt. “The EnGenius devices were simple to configure, easy to mount and install, and provide ample bandwidth for the high definition cameras we’re deploying.” According to Seidt, thanks to the easy installation and configuration of the EnGenius products, Waterfront Park’s new video surveillance solution was installed on schedule and is working well. 4. David Ansehl, owner of Advanced Technology Consultants, explained that his company has been selling the DuraFon cordless business telephone systems for about ten years and that it delivers the extended range that is not possible using DECT and Wi-Fi phone systems. According to Ansahl, the large coverage area of the DuraFon PRO system has resolved the cordless phone issues for their customers. The ability for employees and staff members to move freely throughout the premises and still be able to pick up their phone extensions or contact other staff members internally enables them to work more efficiently and effectively, and provide better customer service. 6. One of M.I.T. Consulting’s core competencies is building and maintaining complex network infrastructures to support the connectivity requirements of its business customers. Often the company is called in to solve wireless connectivity issues caused lack of network coverage or slow network performance. According to Erez Zevulunov, Director and founding partner of M.I.T. Consulting, a client recently called for help resolving connectivity issues in a professional 7,000 square foot, two-story office building with multi-tenant office space. He found the answer in the EnGenius Neutron Series Wireless Management Solution. For deployments that do not require a full-featured enterprise-class solution, the Neutron Series provides an easy-to-use, feature-packed wireless network infrastructure solution for small businesses. 7. Hotel guests demand wireless network connectivity, not only for business and government travelers to connect their laptops, but to support the increase of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets that guests use to access the Internet. While the Candlewood Suites promoted free Wi-Fi access in every suite, guests were frequently frustrated by the difficulty or inability to access the network throughout the four-story building. To solve the problem, the hotel contacted Cierra Digital Communications. “We initially installed the switch and mounted four of the access points in the ceilings and fired it up,” said Dennis Miller, owner of Cierra Digital Communications. “The signal was huge everywhere with just four of the access points hooked up!” After deploying the rest of the access points and configuring them through the EWS5912FP switch, he found the signal coverage throughout the property to be “five bars of signal everywhere.” He also stated that installation of the system was quick and easy and took a total of only two hours. 8. Jeff Keenan, President and CEO of Keenan Systems, provided technical and sales support to the owner/operator during the selection and deployment of the Quality Inn’s wireless networking solution. Keenan knew that the hotel needed a more robust wireless network solution, but the system would have to provide more than just long range, fast speeds, and reliable connectivity. The new hotel needed a managed wireless LAN solution that could be easily deployed by a person without an IT background, and could be monitored and managed remotely by the hotel’s management company. “The ability of the EnGenius Neutron Series to be deployed by a person without an IT background and centrally managed from a corporate headquarters or management company makes it an ideal solution for many small businesses such as this,” Keenan stated. 9. According to Jerry Thompson, network administrator for Lima Christian School, their existing wireless network was not providing the reliable connectivity that was required to support the 140 printers, computers, and laptops connected to the network. “We were looking for a system that would be easy to deploy and manage and would support our high-density client environment,” explained Thompson. “I also wanted to be able to have multiple SSIDs so that I could have students on one network and faculty on another.” Thompson also noted that the EnGenius Neutron Series access points deliver great coverage and range, explaining that the APs are deployed between floors enabling each AP to provide multiple floor access. “We’re getting great range,” he said. “I had a student helper take a laptop around the school to see at what point we would lose the signal. He was almost to his car in the parking lot before the signal dropped.” Complete case study: http://www.engeniustech.com/resources/Lima Christian Case Study.pdf Neutron Series info: https://www.engeniustech.com/solutions/neutron-series.html
  10. As Quakertown Christian School began the transition from a traditional curriculum to a cyber-based curriculum, they quickly realized that their network infrastructure was inadequate to support the network connectivity needs and hired a professional IT person to bring structure to the IT environment. “The Neutron Series solution has allowed me as an IT director to have a single point of control, a single point of monitoring,” said Ken Herr, the school’s Director of Information Technology. “And as an outgrowth of that, I’m able to offer reliable services to the classrooms.” He explained that in private schools where families are paying out of their own pockets for their childrens’ educations, they want to know that they’re getting what they’re paying for. 12. Montgomery Technologies is a professional services firm specializing in the integration of technology and commercial real estate. “We provide technology management services for the commercial real estate industry, with a particular focus on telecommunications infrastructure, base building infrastructure, and tenant solutions,” explained Greg Jones, President of Montgomery Technologies. “Prior to using the EnGenius Neutron Series, we had disparate monitoring systems at various locations, and managing all of those systems was a challenge,” said Jones. “With the rollout of the ezMaster software, the Neutron Series has allowed us to really consolidate some of our infrastructure and leverage the platform to manage multiple networks across the country.” “Networking monitoring has taken a big turn with the introduction of the ezMaster platform,” explained Chris Tallerico, Director of Network Services for Montgomery Technologies. “We were managing and monitoring our wireless access points via a third-party product. With ezMaster, we’ve been able to migrate almost all of the WAPs that we monitor in the field to the platform which allows us now to centrally monitor and manage every single wireless product that we have throughout the United States on one platform.” Case study PDF: http://www.engeniustech.com/resources/Montgomery Tech Case Study FINAL.pdf Neutron series information: https://www.engeniustech.com/solutions/neutron-series.html
