  1. I know this is a little late, but I had the exact same problem today after updating my firmware. Same download link, same FW version, same device model. Went from 1.0.0 to 3.0.1 + 1.8.53 . I was in the middle of composing an email to tech support... but can't afford the down time, so I kept troubleshooting. It seems that devices were still connecting to the AP, so I fired up Fing on my phone, found my eap1300ext in the device list, then clicked 'scan services'. I noted that telnet was open on port 23, but I was unable to log in using PuTTY. I also noted port 443 was open, so I gave that a try. Sure enough, I was able to log into the AP using the previous username and password. So far, everything looks good from there. Wish I hadn't wasted so much time rebooting and re-rebooting the AP, powering it on/off, etc. Hopefully, this will help someone else having the same problem. Maybe the support team can include this workaround into a KB solution. Cheers, ron
