This is a good suggestion and EnGenius indeed planned to develop 4x4 sector antenna.

But there still are some problems and concerns that have to resolve.

When will EnGenius launch 4x4 outdoor AP?

I think the schedule will affect the launched date of 4x4 sector antenna ...

What I heard before, 4x4 outdoor AP would be done to MP in Q3 this year, but not sure it will happen or not.

Is there any news for the launch date of 4x4 sector antenna and is there anyone could share specification?

As the message I got, EnGenius 4x4 sector antenna shall be ready to MP in Q4, 2016.

The specification that i only can share is antenna gain is 15dBi for 5Ghz and 12dBi for 2.4Ghz. ( I didn't get detail specification yet. )

Does 4x4 outdoor AP implement external N-type female connectors?

If YES, does that mean I have to prepare the RF cable with N-type-male to N-type-male for connecting 4x4 AP to 4x4 sector antenna?

I believe EnGenius 4x4 outdoor AP implements N-type female connectors, so you have to use N-type-male to N-type-male for connecting 4x4 outdoor AP to 4x4 sector antenna for sure.
