A few questions for DuraFon-UHF

Recommended Posts

1.Does DuraFon-UHF have to pay extra fee to get licence for use?

2.How many max. unit can register to base? What if it doesn't register to base, can it still use?

3.Other than Moto CLS/CLP, any other 2-way radio can talk?

1. In the US, FCC Part 90: The Business band requires a license to use a channel/frequency but the devices themselves do not require a license.

2. The Durafon UHF is still a Durafon Pro handset with extra features so if all handsets registered to a Durafon Pro base are Durafon UHF then you can have up to 90 Durafon UHF handsets.

3. Yes, as long as on the same UHF frequency.

Can you really drop the DuraFon-UHF from a height of 5 feet? It seems to be made of hard plastic but not like the Pros or 1Xs that are rubberized.
