  1. ENS202EXT with SA2216 or EAS660AP

Hi, Please see attached drawing. We need a wireless signal almost 900ft away from the location of the main router. Can I use the EAS660AP antenna wired to the existing main router? of Can I also use in that situation the Sector Antenna with ENS202-EXT AP unit? I think both units can widen the signal up to 2miles. Please need your advice. Thank you,

  3. ENS500 vs ENH500

Thank you. ...That means the ENH500 is better than ENS500. Thanks LibRaquArius for that information, I appreciate it.
  4. ENS500 vs ENH500

Hi, What is the difference between ENS500 and ENH500? Thanks
  5. Thanks Mike. Yes we plan to run Ethernet from the router. The top roof is an open space. The distance from the metal pole to the open space I think its about 150 ft. Do you think the option2 still work? What is the maximum range distance of the ENS202EXT? Thank you
  6. Thanks laireV. Please take a look the drawing I made. see attached. The option 1 is a Point to Point link using 2- ENS500 and 1-ENS202Ext. 1 unit of ENS500 ( Access Point) mounted outside of the building and the other one mounted on top of the roof (client Bridge) then wired to ENS202Ext ( Access Point) The Option 2 is just 1- ENS202EXT. Mounted on the outside wall of the building. For Option 1, am I doing it right? and do you think this is the best approach to extend the signal? For Option 2, is this also possible just using 1 unit of ENS202Ext (Access Point)? Thank you. Wireless Plan2.pdf
  7. ENS202 EXT

Hi laireV, I created anew topic called ENS202Ext unit on Exterior Flat Roof 2 Storey Bldg. I also attached a drawing. You might want to take a look at it. Thanks much,
  8. I dont know if the Unit Ens202Ext is the right unit for this Scenario, see attached plan with building elevation. We need wireless Internet signal on top of the flat roof of 2 Storey Bldg. We only need internet signal or internet access. My plan was to mount a ENs202 EXT unit on the 5ft post on top of the roof. The router location is inside the office of the bldg. 3 computer wired to the router and 2 computer wirelessly connected. The router is only single band 2.4Ghz. The distance from the router up to where I plan to mount the ENs202Ext unit is at least 70ft. What is your recommended unit to use for this type of situation? Thank you. Wireless Plan1.pdf
  9. ENS202 EXT

Thank you so much, laireV. You are great!
  10. ENS202 EXT

Thanks laireV. How will I know if I need dual or single band/radio access point? Can I use the ENs202Ext mount it on top of the roof and set it as Access Point? The distance from the main router up to where we want a signal is at least 120ft. The exterior wall of the building probably at least 8 to 10inches. Thanks
  11. ENS202 EXT

I mean extend the wireless signal outside the building. Tnx
  12. ENS202 EXT

laireV, I have another scenario... if the Main Router installed inside the basement of the 3 storey building and we want to have a wireless signal on top of the roof. What unit do you recommend to extend the wireless signal? Thanks again.
  13. ENS202 EXT

Ohh...ok, thank you again, that's really helpful. I appreciate it:)
  14. ENS202 EXT

laireV, I'm assuming the 2 EnS500Ext units and the EnS202Ext are connected wirelessly to each other, am I right? Thanks
  15. ENS202 EXT

Thank you so much, laireV ...I appreciate your help:) Happy Holiday!
